Our Founder James Longmire II had a vision, and that vision was to establish a facility that would cater to the healthcare needs of Memphis residents.  As a former Army combat medic, James continued his career in the medical field after leaving the military to complete training in various areas of nursing including oncology, critical care, neurology, and psychiatric care.

As a family nurse practitioner, James specializes in primary care, psychiatry, and behavioral health counseling.  After realizing the need for African American health practitioners in the Memphis area, James opened Longmire Health Group to service individuals in Memphis with quality care and compassion.  Longmire Health Care serves clients with the belief of ensuring to be transparent with patients and always keeping their best interest at heart with a holistic approach to healthcare.
